About

The Muskoka Carving Event was started in February 2010 by John Kerr owner of Back Yard Stuff. Held in Gravenhurst at the Independent parking lot, this exciting art form began to emerge in Muskoka.

Now in its third year, this past February the event was held in Gravenhurst at the Canadian Tire parking lot. The winter venue certainly adds to the ruggedness of this art event however, for all you warm weather lovers, last September at Muskoka Wharf, Kerr organized the 1st Annual September Carving Days. This upcoming August 31 – September 2, Carving Days – 2nd Annual – is moving around Muskoka to be held in Huntsville at the Canada Summit Centre.
